Ikyu, a Japanese travel booking website, is holding the “Summer Discount Ikyu Day Sale” on its travel reservation site “Ikyu.com” from noon on June 1 until noon on June 9.
During the campaign, popular accommodations across Japan are available at special rates. The stay periods for which discounts and point rewards apply vary depending on each hotel or ryokan (traditional Japanese inn).
Examples of rates for participating hotels, based on two people without meals, include: Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto from 13,231 yen, Hotel New Grand from 13,500 yen, Hotel Granvia Kyoto from 14,047 yen, Hotel Nikko Alivila Yomitan Resort Okinawa from 15,680 yen, Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu from 16,200 yen, Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba from 17,340 yen, Miyakojima Kurima Resort Sea Wood Hotel (with breakfast) from 18,484 yen, Le Grand Karuizawa Hotel & Resort from 21,750 yen, and Imperial Hotel Osaka from 24,300 yen, among others.
All of the above prices are based on the immediate use of points. Ikyu points are awarded according to the total payment amount and can be used immediately.
