ANA Implements Special Ticket Measures Due to Typhoon No. 6
The five airlines of the Lufthansa Group have revised the refund conditions on certain intercontinental routes for tickets issued on or after June 3.
Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa German Airlines, SWISS International Air Lines, and Discover Airlines are withdrawing the temporary changes to refund fees that were introduced this spring in response to the geopolitical situation, and are reverting to the previous conditions for many fares.
For Flex fares in Economy Class, Premium Economy Class, and Business Class, refund fees will be waived, while refund fees for Flex fares in First Class will be reduced. From tickets issued on or after June 10, the revised conditions will also apply to Basic Plus and Green fares (all classes), as well as some corporate and special fares.
The Lufthansa Group states that these measures were necessary particularly on routes to and from Asia, in order to respond to short-term shifts in demand and significant increases in demand, and to ensure the most effective use of available seats.
