AirAsia X will temporarily suspend its Kuala Lumpur–Busan route as of June 16.
The airline cites geopolitical uncertainties and supply chain disruptions as reasons, and will optimize its network. The suspension is planned to last until October 23, during which operations on the route will be evaluated based on market conditions and demand. The airline plans to resume operations after that.
For passengers with existing reservations, the airline will offer refunds to the original method of payment or to a credit account, as well as rebooking options to the Kuala Lumpur–Seoul/Incheon route.
