Marriott International opened the Courtyard by Marriott Okinawa Resort on June 15.
The property is a rebranded version of the former Kanehide Kise Beach Palace. It is the first beach resort in Japan under the Courtyard by Marriott brand.
The hotel offers a total of 170 guest rooms, consisting of 8 forest-view Superior rooms and 162 ocean-view rooms across 7 types, including Deluxe King and Corner Suite. All rooms are equipped with work desks and storage, and ocean-view rooms feature private balconies. Many rooms can accommodate up to four guests.
On-site facilities include the beachfront restaurant “Shioka,” the lobby lounge & bar “THE LOUNGE,” a 24-hour fitness center, kids’ club, shop, multipurpose space, and a resort chapel. Marine activities are available during the swimming season.
At the restaurant “Shioka,” guests can enjoy Okinawan cuisine, grilled dishes, and barbecue menus featuring local seafood and ingredients produced in Okinawa Prefecture, served as a breakfast buffet, lunch, and dinner.
Access: approximately 60 minutes by car from Naha Airport via the Okinawa Expressway, or about 100 minutes via National Route 58.
