Jetstar Japan, Orient Corporation, and Mastercard will stop accepting new applications for the “Jetstar Card” as of June 30.
The card launched on February 26, 2020 in Japan. Points accumulated through shopping can be exchanged for flight vouchers and other rewards. In addition, it offers a one-year trial (with conditions) of the “Club Jetstar” membership program in Japan, a 10% discount on in-flight sales, and other benefits. Domestic and overseas travel accident insurance and loss/theft protection are also included. The annual fee is 980 yen (tax included).
Information for existing cardholders will be provided in June. It has already been announced that, starting July 1, new enrollments and renewals for “Club Jetstar” in Japan will be suspended.
