JAL to Increase International Flights in Fiscal 2026, Including San Diego and Bengaluru Routes
Vietnam Airlines is holding the “Your Next Trip to Da Nang! Increased Da Nang Flights Commemorative SNS Campaign” from June 12 to 28.
This campaign commemorates the increase in the number of flights on the Tokyo/Narita–Da Nang and Osaka/Kansai–Da Nang routes. To participate, users must follow the airline’s official SNS accounts, then share the designated post on X and Facebook, or comment on the designated post on Instagram. Prizes include one round-trip business class ticket from Japan to Vietnam, one round-trip economy class ticket from Japan to Vietnam, and original Vietnam Airlines goods for three winners.
From July 1 to October 24, the Tokyo/Narita–Da Nang route will increase from the current 7 round trips per week to 11 round trips per week, with additional flights on Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. The Osaka/Kansai–Da Nang route will increase from the current 4 round trips per week on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday to 5 round trips per week with the addition of Wednesday. All flights will be operated with Airbus A321 aircraft.
The number of bookings on the Da Nang routes has increased compared to the same period last year, reaching 133% on the Tokyo/Narita route and 116% on the Osaka/Kansai route. The airline says that, taking into account exchange rates and price levels, Japanese travelers are showing growing interest in Da Nang as a short- to medium-haul overseas destination. Vietnam Airlines is also planning to continue the increased frequencies during the winter schedule period from October 25 onward.
