JAL to Increase International Flights in Fiscal 2026, Including San Diego and Bengaluru Routes
Japan Airlines (JAL) will increase flights on the Tokyo/Narita–Bengaluru route from August 18.
The airline currently operates three round trips per week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. It had initially planned to increase this to one round trip per day from September 1, but in response to strong inbound travel demand, it will move the increase forward. The aircraft used will be the Boeing 787-8. The required flight time will be 9 hours and 30 minutes from Tokyo/Narita, and 8 hours and 10 minutes from Bengaluru.
In addition, the Tokyo/Narita–San Diego route will also see an increase to one round trip per day from August 1, ahead of the original schedule.
