JR Tokai Tours is holding a “Summer Trip Clearance Sale” from June 19 to 29.
The eligible destination areas are Tokyo; Maihama and Shin-Urayasu; Kanagawa Prefecture; Shizuoka Prefecture; Aichi Prefecture; Gifu Prefecture; the Ise-Shima and Toba area of Mie Prefecture; Kyoto; Nara; Shiga; Osaka; and Universal City/Sakurajima (near Universal Studios Japan in Osaka). Departure regions are the Greater Tokyo area, Shizuoka, the Chubu (Central Japan) region, the Kinki (Kansai) region, the Chugoku region, and Kyushu, although some departure points are not available for certain areas.
Examples of round-trip prices for packages departing from Tokyo Station include: 2 days in Numazu (staying at Sanco Inn Numazu Ekimae, 2 people in 1 room) from 10,690 yen; 2 days in Shizuoka (staying at Hotel Abant Shizuoka, 2 people in 1 room) from 12,700 yen; 2 days in Nagoya (staying at VIA INN Nagoya Shinkansen-guchi, 2 people in 1 room) from 19,810 yen; 2 days in Kyoto (staying at Esperia Hotel Kyoto, 2 people in 1 room) from 23,750 yen; and 2 days in Osaka (staying at Osaka Tokyu REI Hotel, 2 people in 1 room) from 27,540 yen.
The eligible travel period is from July 20 to September 17, limited to departures from Sunday to Thursday. Some blackout dates apply depending on the facility. Only plans marked as part of the “Summer Trip Clearance Sale” are eligible.
