Choice Hotels Japan will open “HOTEL GEOMETIQ Osaka Umeda, an Ascend Collection Hotel” on July 16.
The building has 11 floors above ground and 1 basement floor. There are 132 guest rooms in total, and all rooms are non-smoking. The bathrooms are equipped with 1418-size unit baths. Some rooms feature 140-centimeter-wide beds from the French hotel bed brand “Slumberland” and a three-part separated bathroom (toilet, bath, and washbasin all separate).
The hotel interior combines Art Deco style from the 1920s to 1930s with the history, liveliness, and warm-hearted local culture of Osaka’s Umeda district, incorporating elements such as geometric decorations and orderly lines.
Access: approximately a 6-minute walk from JR Osaka Station, and directly connected to the underground shopping mall “Whity Umeda.”
