Malaysia Airlines will operate charter flights on the Matsuyama–Kota Kinabalu route during Japan’s Silver Week holiday period.
The airline will operate one round-trip flight, departing Matsuyama on September 19 and departing Kota Kinabalu on September 23. Although this route normally requires a connecting flight, the direct flight will shorten the travel time to about five hours.
The tour packages are being sold by the Japanese travel agency H.I.S. (HIS). Tour prices start from 279,000 yen. There are also early-bird discounts and transportation cost support for residents living outside Ehime Prefecture.
