Kura Sushi to Open First Southeast Asia Location in Bangkok in 2027
On June 24, Princess Cruises held an Alaska Cruise Seminar for travel agencies.
President and Representative Director Satoru Horikawa of Carnival Japan delivered opening remarks and expressed high expectations for the market, explaining that 8 out of the fleet of 17 ships will be deployed to Alaska during both the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
In the seminar, the speakers explained why Alaska is well suited for cruising and the unique experiences of traveling by ship, and also introduced not only the scale and track record of Princess Cruises, but also its extensive solutions and hospitality.
The round-trip cruises from Seattle are operated by large ships such as the Royal Princess and Discovery Princess. In Alaska, guests can fully enjoy nature, including glaciers, mountain ranges, and wildlife such as bears.
In the presentations by Alaska Airlines and Visit Seattle (Seattle Convention & Visitors Bureau), Alaska Airlines provided information on the schedule and services of its Tokyo/Narita–Seattle route, which serves as a gateway to Alaska, while Visit Seattle offered the latest updates on an overview of Seattle, sightseeing topics, and cruise trends.
