JAL Group Implements Special Ticket Measures Due to Typhoon No. 7
Air China and Singapore Airlines have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a joint venture.
The scope includes expanding codeshare operations on routes connecting Singapore and mainland China, within China, and beyond both countries, as well as coordinating flight schedules, considering joint fare products, and implementing joint marketing and revenue sharing. They will also expand their frequent flyer partnership to increase opportunities for earning and redeeming miles between the two airlines. Operational cooperation will also be strengthened.
The two airlines have been codesharing since 2016, currently placing codes on routes between Singapore and Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, and Shanghai. As Star Alliance member airlines, they have also maintained a long-standing cooperative relationship.
