Rakuten Group will hold the “Rakuten Travel Summer SALE” on its travel booking service “Rakuten Travel” from 10:00 a.m. on June 30 to 9:59 a.m. on July 21 (Japan time).
For domestic accommodation, discounts are up to 30% with coupons and plans combined; up to 10% for activities and experiences; up to 15,000 yen off Rakuten Travel package deals (“Raku Pack”); up to 45% off rental cars; up to 800 yen off highway buses; and up to 50,000 yen off overseas trips.
Rakuten will also run a campaign in which a total of 2,500 people selected by lottery will receive up to 5,000 Rakuten Points. Rakuten Mobile subscribers will have double the chance of winning. The travel period eligible for the campaign runs until August 31.
