American Express Revamps Platinum Card, Enhances Travel and Dining Benefits
Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) has revised the legend colors used for the “Risk Information” levels on its Overseas Safety website, and partially updated the top page layout and other elements.
From the perspective of web accessibility, the legend color that indicates Risk Level 3 (Recommendation to avoid all travel) will be changed to red, and the color that indicates Risk Level 4 (Recommendation to evacuate) will be changed to a dark red (adzuki bean color). The legend colors for the Infectious Disease Risk Information levels will remain unchanged.
The design of the Overseas Safety website has also been modified. The top page layout has been changed to make it easier to access the map that displays Risk Information, which is one of the main contents, and to unify the design with that of the main MOFA website. A map printing function has been added so that the shape of the map does not become distorted even when it is enlarged or reduced for printing. A “Print” button has been added below the maps for each country to make printing easier.
When displaying the maps on each country/region page in the “Display surrounding countries/regions” mode, the map granularity has been increased so that administrative boundaries, names of administrative divisions, and major city names are now shown.
