China Airlines will resume flights on the Toyama–Taipei/Taoyuan route from August 20.
The airline will operate two round trips per week, on Mondays and Thursdays. The route will be served by Airbus A321neo aircraft. The flight time will be 2 hours and 25 minutes from Toyama to Taipei/Taoyuan, and 3 hours from Taipei/Taoyuan to Toyama.
This route had been suspended since March 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and from spring 2023, China Airlines had been operating temporary flights.
To coincide with the resumption of regular service, a discount campaign will be offered for round-trip tickets to Taipei/Taoyuan. The discount amount is 10,000 yen for adults and 7,500 yen for children, applicable to all classes, and will end once the maximum allocation is reached. Entering a promotion code is required to receive the discount.
