HIS to Launch “XploreRide New York” XR Bus Tour on July 1
Japanese travel agency H.I.S. (HIS) will partially resume tours that transit through airports in the Middle East.
Among its overseas package tours (Ciao and impresso brands) and overseas flight-plus-hotel products (group-planned tours), trips that transit via Dubai, Doha, and Abu Dhabi will resume operation for departures from August 7.
The company will gradually resume operation starting with selected tours for which transit/connecting airports have been confirmed and local support systems are in place.
Trips with destinations in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Oman, and Jordan, for which Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued Overseas Travel Safety Information at Level 2 or Level 3, will remain suspended for departures up to and including August 6.
For customers who have booked overseas air tickets, overseas air ticket plus hotel packages (arranged tours), or overseas hotels, handling will be in accordance with the standard rules of each airline, hotel, and local tour operator. If special measures are applied due to a worsening local situation, the special regulations of each company will apply.
Cancellations made before a suspension decision is announced, as well as cancellations of trips to other regions, will incur cancellation fees as stipulated in the standard terms and conditions.
