JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) has updated its response regarding the situation in the Middle East.
The company will suspend, for all departures through August 14, the operation of organized tour packages that transit via Dubai, Doha, or Abu Dhabi, as well as tours whose destinations are countries or regions for which Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a Level 2 or Level 3 travel alert. The suspension applies to overseas tours “JTBMySTYLE” and overseas tours accompanied by JTB tour conductors or local staff.
Meanwhile, H.I.S. (HIS) will resume operations from August 7 for overseas package tours (Ciao, impresso) and overseas flight + hotel products (organized tour packages) that transit via Dubai, Doha, or Abu Dhabi.
