JAL Begins FLY ON Program Mile-Up Bonus Accrual on Finnair Flights
Japan Airlines (JAL) and TEPCO Energy Partner will launch “JAL Gas Powered by TEPCO” on July 23.
This new utility service for JAL Mileage Bank members allows customers to earn 3 miles for every 100 yen of their monthly gas bill. In addition, customers will earn 1 JAL Life Status Point per month, which serves as the basis for benefits and services under the JAL Life Status Program. The points are automatically awarded regardless of contract details.
Rates are set at approximately 3% lower than the standard city gas rates in each service area. In certain areas, services such as emergency home assistance and gas appliance and floor-heating repair services are included. Customers can also earn Kurashi TEPCO Points, which can be exchanged for JAL miles, by logging in to Kurashi TEPCO Web and through other activities.
The service will be available in the Tokyo, Musashi, Daito, Tobu, Toho, Shizuoka, and Osaka areas, where TEPCO Energy Partner operates its retail business.
To mark the launch, a campaign will award a total of 1 million miles by lottery to customers who apply for JAL Gas Powered by TEPCO by October 31.
