Sony Bank Launches Overseas Spending Campaign for Sony Bank WALLET

Sony Bank will run its “Sony Bank WALLET Overseas Spending Campaign” from August 3 through October 31.

Customers who make in-person purchases or use services overseas will receive cash equivalent to 15% of the transaction amount debited from their foreign currency ordinary deposit account (up to ¥5,000), or 7% in ANA Mileage Club miles (up to 3,300 miles).

In addition, customers who make in-person purchases or use services overseas and have the payment debited from their Japanese yen ordinary deposit account will receive a full cash-back at a later date for the overseas administrative fee (1.79%, tax included). No overseas administrative fee is charged when payments are debited from a foreign currency ordinary deposit account.

Eligible currencies are the U.S. dollar, euro, British pound, Australian dollar, New Zealand dollar, Canadian dollar, Swiss franc, Hong Kong dollar, South African rand, and Swedish krona.

Customers must apply through the campaign page and complete a questionnaire during the campaign period. Customers holding an “ANA Mileage Club / Sony Bank WALLET” card at the end of the campaign will receive ANA miles; all other customers will receive cash.
