The hotel will offer 165 guest rooms. It will be located on a 9-acre forested site overlooking Mount Yotei, between Mount Yotei and Mount Annupuri in Niseko, Hokkaido. The property was designed by Daiken Sekkei, with interior design by Steve Leung Design Group.
The hotel will feature two restaurants, spa and wellness facilities, a kids’ club, and hot springs. It will serve as a base for outdoor activities such as skiing and golf, while also being close to dining options in Niseko Village and Hirafu.
This will be the second Fairmont property in Japan, following Fairmont Tokyo. The hotel will draw on the brand’s experience operating luxury ski and golf resorts in North America.
