Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya is offering its “Miffy Afternoon Tea Set” from June 1 through August 31.
The afternoon tea set (6,500 yen) features sweets and savory items inspired by the world of Miffy. The selection includes candle roll cake, blueberry tart, lemon macarons, Miffy iced cookies and langue de chat cookies, mango and coconut pudding, chilled carrot and apple potage, Dutch-style pita bread sandwiches, bitterballen, and scones with clotted cream and marmalade.
In celebration of Miffy’s birthday on June 21, the menu centers on roll cakes and lemon-based sweets. Each guest will receive one hand towel featuring the hotel logo and Miffy. During the same period, the hotel will also offer the “Miffy Collaboration Cake Set” (1,800 yen), featuring a Miffy-shaped rare cheesecake served with red currant and raspberry sauce and fruit. Guests may choose coffee or tea.
The offerings are available at THE LOUNGE on the first floor. The Miffy Afternoon Tea Set is served by reservation only in two-hour seatings beginning at noon and 2:30 p.m. The Miffy Collaboration Cake Set is available from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., with last orders at 10 p.m.
