Japan Airlines (JAL) has scheduled special flights on the Fukuoka–Kagoshima route today, July 29.
One round trip, comprising two flights, will be operated using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Under normal circumstances, Japan Air Commuter (JAC) operates one round trip per day on this route.
The Kyushu Shinkansen has also suspended services across its entire line from the first train today. Services between Kumamoto and Kagoshima-Chuo stations will remain suspended for the entire day.
