Solaseed Air has established size rules for “personal items” that may be brought into the cabin, effective July 1.
Personal items must be small enough to fit under the seat in front and measure no more than 40 centimeters × 30 centimeters × 20 centimeters. Their weight, combined with carry-on baggage, must not exceed 10 kilograms. The same rules have also taken effect at other ANA Group airlines.
From April 1, the Scheduled Airlines Association of Japan established industry-wide guidelines limiting cabin baggage to a total of two items: one personal item and one piece of baggage. Personal items must be of a size that can fit under the seat in front.
