Jetstar Japan will revise its carry-on baggage policy from February 2, 2027.
The current weight-based rules will be abolished and replaced with size-based criteria. Fares will include only one item of baggage that fits under the seat in front (40 cm × 30 cm × 20 cm).
Baggage stored in the overhead lockers will be available through an upgrade or certain Economy Class option bundles. The maximum size is 56 cm × 36 cm × 23 cm, with a weight limit of 10 kg. The number of available options will be limited.
Passengers who booked by August 4 and added the Plus 7 kg option for flights departing on or after February 2, 2027, will receive a refund of the additional baggage fee.
