In response to the Kumamoto Earthquake that occurred on July 28, Solaseed Air will provide support.
To support those affected by the disaster, the airline will donate 1 million yen in relief funds through Kumamoto Prefecture.
In addition, in cooperation with the Japanese Red Cross Society and Japan Platform (JPF), Solaseed Air will provide complimentary seats to personnel dispatched by the two organizations for relief purposes. Eligible routes include all routes operated by Solaseed Air. Applications will be accepted from August 7 through September 25, and travel will be available from the start of the application period through September 30. Advance reservations are required, and passengers may be unable to board depending on seat availability.
Solaseed Smile Club members are also being encouraged to donate support miles. Donated miles will be converted into their equivalent monetary value (1 mile = 1 yen) and contributed to the Japanese Red Cross Society’s relief fund collection. The program will run from 10 a.m. on August 12 through 5 p.m. on September 30. Applications for donations of between 1 and 20,000 miles can be made using the application form on the website.
