Etihad Airways will extend the operating period of its Abu Dhabi–Zanzibar route.
The route was launched on June 14 and is operated four times weekly, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Although operations were initially planned through September 6, the operating period will be extended through March 31, 2027, in response to growing demand.
An Airbus A320 aircraft is used on the route. Flight time is 5 hours and 40 minutes in both directions.
Zanzibar is an archipelago in Tanzania in the Indian Ocean, known for its spectacular beaches and coral reefs.
