
Philippine Airlines to Increase Sapporo/Chitose–Manila Flights Temporarily
Cebu Pacific will expand its direct flights to major cities in China, Vietnam and Japan.
The airline will launch new routes from Cebu to Nagoya/Chubu and Shanghai/Pudong, while resuming services from Manila to Xiamen, Clark to Hanoi, and Cebu to Ho Chi Minh City.
The Cebu–Ho Chi Minh City route will operate three round trips per week from October 26; the Cebu–Shanghai/Pudong route, three weekly round trips from November 17; the Cebu–Nagoya/Chubu route, four weekly round trips from November 19; the Clark–Hanoi route, three weekly round trips from November 19; and the Manila–Xiamen route, two weekly round trips from November 23.
Xander Lao, President and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), commented, “The addition of direct flights to China, Vietnam and Japan will not only provide travelers across the Philippines with convenient access to these cities, but also encourage more international travelers to visit and explore the Philippines.”
Cebu Pacific currently serves 35 destinations within the Philippines and 26 cities across Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
