NearMe expanded its “Hourly Charter” service on August 14.
The service allows customers to charter large vehicles by the hour. In addition to the Tokyo area, the service area now includes Osaka and Kyoto, Hokkaido, Tokai, and Okinawa. The fixed-rate fare includes the reservation fee, arrangement fee, and expressway tolls, with the price confirmed at the time of booking.
Users are required to enter their date, usage time, and destination to make a reservation via the dedicated website or app. Registering stopover points is optional, but NearMe recommends doing so in advance to ensure smooth operations and prevent additional charges.
The result of a provisional booking will be notified within a few hours, while departure and arrival times, vehicle details, and the operating route will be finalized by 6 p.m. on the day before departure. Payment is accepted by credit card.
