First Air launched two new routes on January 22: between Ishigaki and Tarama, and Ishigaki and Hateruma.
For January and February, the Ishigaki-Tarama route will operate twice a week on Mondays and Saturdays, while the Ishigaki-Hateruma route will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays (excluding February 19 and 21). The flight time for both routes is 30 minutes. If there are no reservations, flights may be canceled. The standard fare for both routes is 14,000 yen for adults and 8,500 yen for children. Discounted fares for residents of Tarama Island and Hateruma Island are also available.
Reservations can be made by phone or through the website starting January 10. Flights are scheduled to be suspended from February 27 due to aircraft maintenance.
