Yokkaichi City Hotel Annex completed its renovation on June 21.
The guest rooms and elevator halls have been updated with color schemes and interior designs inspired by salvia, the official flower of Yokkaichi City in Mie Prefecture, Japan.
The entire hotel is now non-smoking, with a smoking booth installed on the first floor. The lobby layout has been redesigned, adding counter and table seating for computer work and meetings. An exhibition space has also been created to showcase works and products by local businesses and creators, enhancing the lounge facilities for group use.
From July 16, the hotel added “Salt-Koji Grilled Chicken” and “Grilled Pork with Grated Yam” to its ceramic-plate breakfast dishes.
