The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka will offer its “British Afternoon Tea with Asprey,” a collaboration with Asprey, from August 19 through October 14.
The six sweets include “Creamy Green Tea Panna Cotta and Roasted Rice Tea Gianduja,” inspired by the 1781 Bucket Handbag; “Spiced Pumpkin and Cream Cheese Mousse with Cacao Nib Sablé,” featuring the Asprey logo; and “Bichon with Cinnamon Apple Jam and Chestnut Cream.” The savory selection comprises four items incorporating British food culture, including a “Roast Ham and Cheddar Cheese Sandwich with Fruit Chutney” and “Truffle-Flavored Meat Pie.” Guests can enjoy unlimited plain and maple pecan scones, served with goat milk Mornay sauce, cheese cream, and clotted cream.
The afternoon tea will be served at The Lobby Lounge on the first floor, from noon to 7 p.m. The price is 8,500 yen; 10,500 yen with an original cocktail; or 12,500 yen with a glass of champagne and three macarons to take home. Tax and service charge are included.
