Marriott International will open The Westin Hokkaido Furano Resort in Furano, Hokkaido, Japan, in the summer of 2029.
Sekisui House will serve as the project owner, while Pacifica Capital will be responsible for operations. The building will have nine above-ground floors and one basement level, with a total floor area of approximately 17,000 square meters. It will offer a total of 195 guest rooms, including suites.
The property will feature restaurants, a bar, fitness facilities, a spa, a large public bath, and function rooms for business and social events.
Dining will be available at an all-day restaurant with a semi-open kitchen and specialty restaurants. Light meals and beverages will also be offered at the lobby lounge, café, and bakery-patisserie.
