
Krakatau Eruption Causes Flight Cancellations at Jakarta Airport
Akafuku will open limited-time stores at Haneda Airport’s Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 from September 16 through 28.
In addition to its standard products, including the Ise specialty Akafuku and Shiro Mochi Kuro Mochi, which are not normally sold in Tokyo, the stores will offer the summer-only Akafuku Mizuyokan. Products from Isuzu Chaya, the confectionery shop operated by the company, will also be available, including chestnut dorayaki and Toki no Yokan Kuri. Examples of items for sale include Akafuku Mochi (box of 12), Shiro Mochi Kuro Mochi, and Okage Inu Sablé Cookie Tins.
The stores will be located in front of Security Checkpoint C in the second-floor departure lobby of Terminal 1, and in the Marketplace in the second-floor departure lobby of Terminal 2. Business hours are from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., with the Terminal 2 store open until 8:30 p.m.
