Himi City in Toyama Prefecture, Japan, is running the “Himi Travel Discount Campaign.”
Coupons are being distributed through the travel booking website Rakuten Travel: ¥3,000 off for bookings of ¥6,000 or more; ¥5,000 off for bookings for two or more people totaling ¥10,000 or more; and ¥10,000 off for bookings for three or more people totaling ¥20,000 or more. All coupons are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with 4,000, 3,000, and 1,500 coupons available, respectively.
The booking period runs from August 17 through November 13, and eligible stays are those checking in from August 23 through checking out on November 16.
The campaign applies to reservations at participating accommodation facilities, regardless of whether meals are included. Reservations must be made through Rakuten Travel after obtaining a coupon. Direct bookings with accommodation facilities, bookings made through other reservation websites, and bookings made before obtaining a coupon are not eligible.
