Etihad Airways has expanded its service to 10 cities in India.
The airline commenced daily round trip flights between Kozhikode (formerly known as Calicut or Kozhikode), Thiruvananthapuram, and Abu Dhabi on January 1st. The routes are operated with Airbus A321 or Airbus A320 aircraft. This provides convenient access to the Middle East, Europe, and North America.
In 2023, the airline resumed operations to Kolkata and increased the frequency of flights to Mumbai and Delhi from two to four round trips per day.
