British Airways will launch a London/Gatwick–Kilimanjaro–Zanzibar–London/Gatwick route on May 29, 2027.
The service will operate as a triangular route three times weekly, on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Boeing 777 aircraft will be used. The route will operate through October 31.
Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar are destinations in Tanzania. Tanzania is a gateway to the safari circuit, offering access to Serengeti National Park, where visitors can witness the Great Migration, one of the world’s largest natural phenomena; the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ngorongoro Crater, home to the Big Five; Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast elephant herds; and Lake Manyara National Park. Zanzibar is known for its history, cultural heritage, and white-sand beaches.
