Japan’s TEMAIRAZU Investigates Unauthorized Access Following Suspicious Booking Messages
G-Plan announced that its point service, “G Point,” was subject to unauthorized external access, potentially resulting in the leakage of some information it holds.
The company detected an anomaly in its system on September 25 and, following an investigation, determined that it had been subject to unauthorized external access. It shut down the system and blocked external access on the same day. No additional unauthorized access has been detected at this time. The information that may have been leaked consists of up to approximately 70,000 member identifiers.
Due to the system shutdown, G Point-related services have also been suspended. The timing for resuming services has not yet been determined, and the company said it will provide further notice separately.
The company is currently investigating the cause and scope of the impact, while also proceeding with measures required under relevant laws and regulations.
