Thai Airways Continues Passenger Support Amid Bangkok Flooding
Star Alliance has discontinued First Class fares for its Round-the-World and Circle Pacific fares.
New tickets can no longer be issued for travel from October 1 onward. Tickets that have already been issued at First Class fares and have confirmed reservations may still be used as is. Travel must be completed by October 1, 2027.
Change policies vary depending on the ticket issuance date. Tickets issued on or after June 30 will be repriced using First Class fares, regardless of whether they are unused or partially used. From the same date, travel restrictions and change provisions have been established in the fare rules for First Class fares.
For tickets issued on or before June 29, Star Alliance plans not to permit changes and will instead advise refunds. Refunds will be subject to a refund fee in accordance with the fare rules.
The Round-the-World fare allows up to 16 flight segments per itinerary. For itineraries departing Japan, fares were 1,141,000 yen for up to 29,000 miles, 1,344,000 yen for up to 34,000 miles, and 1,504,800 yen for up to 39,000 miles.
