Narita International Airport to Conduct Automated Freight Road Demonstration
To commemorate its 80th anniversary, Cathay Pacific is displaying three-dimensional bear figures dressed in uniforms from different eras at Hong Kong International Airport.
Each bear wears a uniform from a different period, allowing visitors to trace the evolution of the airline’s cabin crew uniforms. The initiative is being carried out jointly with JCDecaux Transport, an outdoor advertising company.
Passengers are welcomed by bears wearing the current uniform at the airline’s check-in counters B and C. Six bears dressed in classic uniforms are also lined up in the departures check-in hall. After immigration, travelers can continue to encounter the bears in the duty-free area and the West Hall. Those who post a photo with a bear on social media can purchase a bear blind box at a discounted price at the Cathay Shop.
Linda Wong, Head of Lifestyle Marketing at Cathay Pacific, commented, “We have transformed Hong Kong International Airport into a space where visitors can experience the Cathay story and share our 80-year journey in a fun and engaging way.” Esther Lui, General Manager of Retail Portfolio at Airport Authority Hong Kong, said, “By turning key airport touchpoints into a fun ‘bear hunt,’ we are creating memorable moments for travelers of all ages.”
