JALPAK will begin selling Fukuoka Prefecture travel products under the “Kyushu Reconstruction Support Discount” travel assistance program from 2:00 p.m. on October 1.
Only dynamic packages combining air tickets and accommodation will be eligible. The stay period runs from October 1 through December 25, with check-out on the following day.
The Kyushu Reconstruction Support Discount applies to travel and accommodation products involving stays of one night or more in the Kyushu region, offering a 50% discount on travel and accommodation prices. Kumamoto and Kagoshima prefectures, where cancellations have had a major impact on tourism, will receive a 60% discount. The maximum discount is ¥20,000 per night for accommodation-only products and accommodation travel products with transportation; ¥30,000 for transportation-inclusive accommodation travel products of two nights or more; and ¥35,000 for multi-destination tour products covering accommodation in two or more prefectures.
