JALPAK will begin sales of the Kumamoto Prefecture portion of the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” travel subsidy program at 10:00 a.m. on October 5.
The offer applies only to dynamic packages that combine airfare and accommodation. Eligible stays are from October 1 through December 25, with checkout on the following day.
The Kyushu Recovery Support Discount applies to travel and accommodation products in the Kyushu region that include at least one overnight stay, offering a 50% discount on travel and accommodation costs. Kumamoto and Kagoshima prefectures, where cancellations have had a particularly significant impact on tourism, receive a 60% discount. The maximum discount is 20,000 yen per night for accommodation-only products and accommodation travel products with transportation; 30,000 yen for transportation-inclusive accommodation travel products of two nights or more; and 35,000 yen for multi-destination tour products covering accommodation in two or more prefectures.
