J-Trip will begin selling the Fukuoka, Nagasaki and Miyazaki Prefecture portions of the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” travel assistance program at noon on October 5.
Only dedicated packages combining airfare and accommodation will be available. Eligible stays are from October 1 through December 25 (check-out the following day). Sales are limited to email newsletter subscribers and LINE friends.
The Kyushu Recovery Support Discount applies to travel and accommodation products in the Kyushu region that include at least one overnight stay, offering a 50% discount on travel and accommodation costs. Kumamoto and Kagoshima prefectures, where cancellations have had a particularly significant impact on tourism, receive a 60% discount. The maximum discount is ¥20,000 per night for accommodation-only products and accommodation travel packages with transportation; ¥30,000 for transportation-inclusive accommodation packages of two nights or more; and ¥35,000 for multi-destination tour products covering accommodations in two or more prefectures.
