JTB has begun selling travel products for Miyazaki Prefecture under the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” travel assistance program, starting at noon on October 5.
The offer applies to dynamic packages that combine airfare or JR rail tickets with accommodation. The eligible stay period runs from October 6 through December 25 (check-out the following day).
The Kyushu Recovery Support Discount applies to travel and accommodation products involving stays of one night or more in the Kyushu region of Japan, providing a 50% discount on travel and accommodation costs. Kumamoto and Kagoshima prefectures, where cancellations have had a significant impact on tourism, receive a 60% discount. The maximum discount is ¥20,000 per night for accommodation-only products and transportation-inclusive accommodation packages; ¥30,000 for transportation-inclusive accommodation packages of two nights or more; and ¥35,000 for multi-prefecture touring travel products covering accommodation in two or more prefectures.
