
American Express and Marriott Offer Bonus Points for New Cardmembers
Luxury Card will increase its annual fees.
Under the revised fee structure, the Titanium Card will cost ¥75,000 for primary cardholders and ¥22,500 for family cardholders, up from ¥55,000 and ¥16,500, respectively. The Black Card will cost ¥150,000 for primary cardholders and ¥37,500 for family cardholders, up from ¥110,000 and ¥27,500. The Gold Card will cost ¥295,000 for primary cardholders and ¥73,500 for family cardholders, up from ¥220,000 and ¥55,000. The Racehorse Owners Black Card will cost ¥183,000 for primary cardholders and ¥37,500 for family cardholders, up from ¥143,000 and ¥27,500. All prices include tax. The Black Diamond, JAL Luxury Card Limited, and JAL Luxury Card are excluded.
For new members, the revised fees will apply to applications submitted on or after January 1, 2027. For existing members, they will be introduced gradually for annual fee charges from February 2027 onward. The annual fee is billed in the second month following the month shown as the expiration date on the back of the card.
Luxury Card said that it has expanded its benefits and services while maintaining its annual fees for 10 years since it began issuing cards in Japan. The company explained that it will accelerate investment in improving its products, services, and overall brand experience in order to provide new value and experiences.
