Ikyu will begin selling the Nagasaki Prefecture portion of the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” travel assistance program on its travel booking website, Ikyu.com, from noon on October 8.
Standalone accommodation bookings are eligible. The eligible stay period is from October 1 through December 25 (checkout the following day).
The Kyushu Recovery Support Discount applies to travel and accommodation products for stays of one night or more in the Kyushu region, offering a 50% discount on travel and accommodation costs. Kumamoto and Kagoshima prefectures, where cancellations have had a major impact on tourism, offer a 60% discount. The maximum discount is ¥20,000 per night for standalone accommodation products and accommodation travel products with transportation; ¥30,000 for accommodation travel products with transportation for stays of two nights or more; and ¥35,000 for multi-destination tour products covering accommodations in two or more prefectures. Day trips, day-use stays, business trips funded by public expense, business use, and plans that include highly convertible gift certificates are not eligible.
