Norse Atlantic Airways and Pakistan International Airlines Sign Boeing 787-9 Wet Lease Agreement
LATAM Airlines Brazil will receive its first Embraer E195-E2 aircraft.
The airline will receive 12 aircraft by the end of the year and introduce another 12 in 2027. In September 2025, the LATAM Airlines Group announced plans to introduce up to 74 aircraft of the type.
The aircraft will have 136 seats in a 2-2 configuration, with Premium Economy and Economy Class cabins. The Premium Economy cabin will vary from 8 to 28 seats, while Economy Class will range from 108 to 128 seats. Premium Economy will offer greater seat pitch and enhanced recline. The aircraft will also feature complimentary Wi-Fi for members, USB-C power outlets, and the LATAM Play inflight entertainment system.
Operations on domestic routes in Brazil will begin on November 30, initially with seven weekly round trips between São Paulo and Rondonópolis, and four weekly round trips on the São Paulo–Ji-Paraná/Cabo Frio routes. Routes and frequencies will be gradually expanded through March 2027. In the first phase, 14 aircraft will be deployed on 42 routes, including seven new routes and four new destinations.
The first Embraer E195-E2 to be delivered was unveiled to the media in São José dos Campos in June.
