Hiyori Hotel Matsuyama reopened on September 19 following a renovation.
A total of 158 rooms on floors 7 through 12—including Comfort Double, Select Twin, Urban Twin, Urban Triple, and Premium Family rooms—have been renovated. The guestrooms feature artwork inspired by Matsuyama Castle, the Botchan Train, and the Okaido shopping street. Renovated rooms are equipped with 55-inch smart TVs and multiple power outlets. Double rooms in particular feature 150-centimeter-wide Serta beds, large sofas, large tables, two-door refrigerators, and microwave ovens.
The lobby lounge has been updated with new sofas and chairs. The breakfast restaurant, “SERA SETO,” has redesigned its interior and buffet layout. The morning buffet includes seafood rice bowls that guests can top as they wish with Ehime red sea bream and olive yellowtail landed in the Seto Inland Sea, Uwajima tai-meshi, and a tasting selection of Ehime mandarin orange juices. A self-service cloakroom will be added on October 22, and a large public bath is scheduled to open around spring 2027.
Complimentary services include a “Welcome Drink,” the evening “Happy Foam!” service featuring draft beer and mikan liqueur, the late-night snack “Hiyori Dashi Chazuke,” “Morning Coffee,” and a selectable “Happy Present.”
