Ikkyu will begin selling the Nagasaki Prefecture portion of the “Kyushu Reconstruction Support Discount” travel subsidy program on its travel booking website, Ikkyu.com, from noon on October 14.
The offer applies to accommodation-only bookings. Eligible stays are from October 14 through January 30, 2027 (checkout the following day).
The Kyushu Reconstruction Support Discount applies to travel and accommodation products of one night or more in the Kyushu region, offering a 50% discount on travel and accommodation fees. In Kumamoto and Kagoshima prefectures, where cancellations have had a major impact on tourism, the discount is 60%. The maximum discount is 20,000 yen per night for accommodation-only products and accommodation packages with transportation; 30,000 yen for transportation-inclusive accommodation packages of two nights or more; and 35,000 yen for multi-prefecture touring travel products covering accommodation in two or more prefectures. Day trips, day-use stays, business trips funded by public expense accounts, business use, and plans that include highly convertible gift certificates are not eligible.
