LINE Yahoo will begin selling travel deals for Kagoshima Prefecture under the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” travel assistance program on its travel booking website, Yahoo! Travel, from noon on October 14.
Eligible products include accommodation-only bookings and “Dynamic Packages” that combine flights and accommodation. For accommodation-only bookings, the eligible stay period is from October 14 through January 30, 2027 (check-out the following day). For Dynamic Packages, it is from October 15 through December 26 (return date).
The Kyushu Recovery Support Discount applies to travel and accommodation products in Japan’s Kyushu region that include at least one overnight stay, offering a 50% discount on travel and accommodation costs. Kumamoto and Kagoshima prefectures, where cancellations have had a particularly significant impact on tourism, receive a 60% discount. The maximum discount is 20,000 yen per night for accommodation-only products and accommodation travel products with transportation; 30,000 yen for accommodation travel products with transportation for stays of two nights or more; and 35,000 yen for multi-prefecture touring travel products covering accommodation in two or more prefectures. Day trips, day-use stays, business trips funded with public expenses, business use, and plans that include highly liquid gift certificates are not eligible.
