Singapore Court Approves Jetstar Asia Debt Restructuring Plan
Jetstar Japan has announced that it will postpone the announcement of its new brand until around January 2027. The announcement had originally been scheduled for October.
Jetstar Japan is set to transition from the “Jetstar” brand to a new brand following the transfer of all shares held by its major shareholder, the Qantas Group. Development Bank of Japan Inc. (DBJ) will join as a new shareholder, and the company will shift to a management structure led primarily by domestic Japanese capital, alongside Japan Airlines (JAL) and Tokyo Century.
The company said it will make a further announcement once the details have been finalized.
